The firm of Donald R. Thomas, Land Surveyor provides a wide range of professional services in the fields of Land Surveying and Land Planning, engaging in instrument surveys, building and construction stake-out and boundary surveys.
The present office is a derivative of a long succession of firms dating back to approximately 1880. Through a series of partnerships, the services were expanded, and in 1967, an office was opened in Geneseo, New York to provide professional services to the Livingston, Genesee, Ontario and adjoining county areas.
The firm has an extensive collection of files and record maps from the area and approximately 500 surveys of various complexity are added each year.
The firm of Donald R. Thomas, Land Surveyor subscribes to the current Code of Practice for Land Surveys as Adopted by the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors as well as the Minimum Standards for Residential Surveys Adopted Jointly by the Monroe County Bar Association and the Genesee Valley Land Surveyors Association.
